Green Remington Keller, (1847-1912) was a soldier in the Confederate States Army from 1862 - 1865. He enlisted when he was 16 yrs. old. He was one of John Hunt Morgan's Men. They were captured during the daring Ohio raids. After the War, Reunions of John Hunt Morgan's men were held at Green Remington Keller's home. He is an ancestor. He was editor of the "Bourbon Sun" Newspaper, editor of the "Cynthiana Democrat" Newpaper & editor of the "Carlisle Mercury" Newspaper. All 3 located in Ky. He was the son of Noah Spears & Elizabeth Hamilton Remington Keller. In 1870 he married Francis P. Holton, daughter of James (Harvey) & Anne Fee Holton of Bracken County, Ky. They had 2 children: Hervey Smith Keller m.. Adelma Crutcher & Stanley Withers Keller m. Edna Louise Potts all of Nicholas County, Ky. He is buried in the Carlisle Cemetery, Carlisle, Ky.
